The Opth BU at SUN is a huge money-loser. You guys are deep in the red and the question is:

When will the plug get pulled on the whole thing?

Say what you will about the Opth leaders who recently left. But, they're smart people and they saw what's ahead.

Good point. For the company to make real strides in the right direction, we need not to point fingers, not to wallow in the crap on CP, and not to get caught up in the drama. Focus on growing the business, and doing the right things every day to help make this a better place to work.

The problem is the US CEO is a disaster. He has created a culture of madness. He handled the Jesper situation horribly and had him escorted out the doors by guards. Then he f bombs a female employee and HR does NOTHING!!! Then you have the massive off label marketing practices of multiple sales forces and everyone in upper management pretends it doesn't occur or tries to explain why it isn't off label marketing. We have ZERO stock options and one of the worst 401k matches in the industry. On top of that all good people are leaving. Then people unqualified are being promoted into positions because they can't find good outside help. This is a HUGE mess and the new US CEO is not qualified to fix it.
