Can someone give me some specific facts about the status of this company? I was planning to interview here but all of the comments seem very negative. I am trying to leave one shit show of a job and don't want to jump into another. Honest answers please .

Natera does have an appeal when looking to join.. every company has it's short comings. However, the lab is undergoing mass investigation for class action lawsuits.. billing and insurance fraud and the culture is probably worse than most (reason being poor leadership). Really hard to climb your way up unless you are a part of the problem. You'll work very hard and will potentially have a manager who manipulates incentive structures to reward certain people over others. It's an uphill battle getting ahead and representing a lab with so much negative publicity. Think if big box and pharma had a baby.. that's Natera in a weird nutshell

Don't do it.. most looking to get out. Money dried up from lawsuits and company overall very unethical.. toxic all around. Very few decent folk in management. Put it this way.. they couldn't get away with their shady behavior at many other companies

If you do join, get as much in writing relating to comp plan, territory, etc.. depending on your manager you may be subject to things shifting arbitrarily without your knowledge or consent. Many have left for this exact reason. Give them an inch to screw you and they'll take 10 miles.. I would really think hard before joining this company

99% of the posts on the Natera page are from the same disgruntled employee. Clearly they have an ax to grind and they use this platform to vent.

Natera has its problems for sure but if you can sell you can make A LOT of money and frankly your RD makes or breaks this job. You get a good one and you are golden and they make this a great place to work.

I’ve made a ton of money here and still hate this place! You are pressured to compromise your morals by ELT to keep up with the gross growth goals. It’s a nightmare of an organization! If you are willing to feel like you are losing a piece of your soul each day come over! Just know you were warned!

Had an interview here and they couldn't have been more unprofessional. I was totally interviewing the entire time. Very unimpressed. I think I'm more qualified to be in the managers position to be quite honest. They didn't have answers to any of my questions or even a clue about the package...needless to say, nexxxxxxt

What makes you think managers are good at their jobs?

The truth is managers are the laziest group of people in any organization. These days, most of them did not get into a managerial position by doing good at sales either. That used to be the way promotions worked. No more. These days its about drinking with the boss for the most part.

I advise people to get way from all medical sales, as we have seen the last 2 years, this industry is all about money and not health.
