I Need Advice....

So post Covid, prior to offices opening, I didn't work at all. ( 2 years)

When a few offices finally opened, I did a couple of lunches a month. So essentially worked a couple of hours twice a month. (1 year)

Now that most offices no longer see Reps, and it has become a fiasco to actually conduct a business lunch, I'm back to working an hour or so a month.

If you run the actual working hourly wages on salary and bonus I'm probably making as much as a professional athlete. Problem is, I think they are starting to figure out that no one is actually working in the field. We really only need an HED and 1 TAM per state. Fire all the rest of the roles. HD's work even less than TAM's. The other made up roles are simply window dressing, considering the TAM can do all of it.

Advice needed is, as a 47 year old do I simply ride this ridiculous money grab until the bitter end, or do I try to find something more meaningful to do with my life?

What a scam you are running... 47 year old toddler-dropping off donuts, 1 hour a month. You are the poster boy for the lies and rot this job has become... sell your body parts online-you are worthless...

You must be really bad. Because offices are back to normal post covid. Everyone has always had no see offices- but pretty much most Dr.'s can be seen by someone. Same then as it is now. We really kept some of the worse of the worse in sales. Sad what this company has become. But it pays pretty good and I only need to last 6 more years.

I’m confident that you’re so full of yourself that you have no problem scamming the company the way you are. At least make an effort to go out and visit an office or two, otherwise, yes, move on to Xerox or Minolta where you will have to physically visit offices. Dear God, what has become of this company

OP is right. No one is working more than a couple of hours a month. By working I mean actually talking with Physicians. I am not talking about driving hours each day, taking donuts to office staff, or flirting with the nurses. If you are honest, you know what I am talking about. Stop acting like you are being productive. How much actual time do you spend face to face in a discussion with a physician?

if you are a white male, your days are already ordained. Get out soon. It will be hard moving into a real job, but you will earn your self-respect back.

Let’s be honest. Getting paid for not working is built into official company policy. This company lets you get paid for two months for going on so called sabbatical. My advice is to shut up, cash that inflated, undeserved paycheck, and find a hobby or a good side hustle.

infuse apricot jelly inside you...

I love those in this thread acting like they are actually doing anything. Face to face meaningful interactions are few and far between. Most here believe that driving to an office, dropping off material, and having a lunch with a colleague is a meaningful day. What a joke. No one is effecting change here.
