So post Covid, prior to offices opening, I didn't work at all. ( 2 years)
When a few offices finally opened, I did a couple of lunches a month. So essentially worked a couple of hours twice a month. (1 year)
Now that most offices no longer see Reps, and it has become a fiasco to actually conduct a business lunch, I'm back to working an hour or so a month.
If you run the actual working hourly wages on salary and bonus I'm probably making as much as a professional athlete. Problem is, I think they are starting to figure out that no one is actually working in the field. We really only need an HED and 1 TAM per state. Fire all the rest of the roles. HD's work even less than TAM's. The other made up roles are simply window dressing, considering the TAM can do all of it.
Advice needed is, as a 47 year old do I simply ride this ridiculous money grab until the bitter end, or do I try to find something more meaningful to do with my life?
