OMG - I leave this board for one day and come back to all of these posts about buyouts, no buyouts, janitors, glory holes, mgmt being at fault, sales reps being at fault, Stock Twits being the problem, etc.
First off - Pernix Senior Mgmt has responsibilities to their employees as well as to their investors (for you Stock Twits folks). With the morale of the employees in bad shape and the stock price crashing with pretty much no hope for upwards movement without positive news catalyst - it is more important than ever that senior mgmt reassure all by releasing some sort of information in form of a press release.
This press release could be as simply as Pernix dedication to building back up its sales force to increase revenue. Pernix update on pending FDA approvals that they are expecting shortly. AN update on how the permanent CEO search is going. Or how about releasing new guidance for the rest of the year.
For the employees, how about reassurance that all earned commissions will be paid according to compensation schedule. How about announcing some company wide charity event to benefit a good cause. How about just updating employees on what exactly is going on as far as their jobs are concerned.
But with no news, employees will continue to leave, bad mouth the company to new and existing employees. Investors will sell off shares as NO stock price is going to rise without a catalyst of good news. Lack of any news is pretty much telling everyone that BAD news is on the way in once shape or another.
