I was personally affected by ALS which took the life of a friend. When I joined this company I though we could change the landscape of ALS and truly help patients maintain function longer.
It’s true that the company has been terribly mismanaged and the morale is low. However, what’s worse is two years into launch it’s clear this drug is minimally effective at best. These poor patients have to stress for months worrying if they can even get on drug and when they finally get it they have to spend half the month getting infusions. There’s no way to tell if they are getting better and this drug schedule interferes with their ability to travel and enjoy the remainder of their lives. I applaud MT for getting a drug to these ALS patients but without the oral this company is dead.
It pains me to post this but you should really consider what you’re getting into here at MT if you’re a potential candidate. Any current MT employees with differing views, I welcome a debate on this.
