I hate the smoke pencil

Has my career really come to this... I am now selling a pencil only to keep my job. This is one of the worst products ever. It takes forever to eval, you make very little money, and they only use it when you are there. I love how the managers try to say that other reps are selling it, the fact is that most of the big sellers converted from Clearvac. I really hate my job and if my numbers werent so bad right now, I would be gone. I guess I will just keep on making up contacts to make it look like I am working since their is no way I will get out of this rut. Thank god the rest of the country is doing just as bad. Thanks Sean for the extra 10K this year, I am going to need it.

Yep, I cant believe how much money our competitor Valleylab pays there reps,,, I am with you guys, I am miserable at Conmed but have no where to go because I cant show good numbers. I guess thats why the top reps get out when they are on top, they know they are headed to the bottom... What happened to BS, I saw he was number one in the company on the Feb rankings and he still left... Thats when you know its bad.

What is it...you guys have been beating the drum relentlessly for three years now? What is the Smoke Pencil putting into the old company's bottom line (after all the free stuff reps give as a spiff to accounts to order that is)? A major share of your time, effort and frustration and you are making what...five percent of your commission off it? you guys aren't paranoid of your management are you. LOL!
