That HR, Sr. Management could spend years developing the new job structure and totally, F it up??? Reps aren't po'd about the money it is the dumb title. All our fearless leaders needed to do was put the bottom 10% in S1, the middle 80% in S2 and the "top" 10% in S3. They could pay the bottom S1.9%, S2 1.8% and what ever to S3. The S2 get to wear the pretty gold name tags and feel proud of their "achievement" and will go out their and work their buts off. When are we going to purge this company of time-wasting, money-wasting fools!!!!!!!!!

Why do reps try to take their jobs seriously when Merck obviously does not? That is a recipe for insanity. Take it or leave it. The job is getting more unreal by the month.

I am totally demotivated. Really, thought I would be a s2/executive and am a s1. Stuck in Senior but now in my "old" age was told I should aspire to become an "executive" representative. RU kidding me? I have ten years of hospital speciality and twenty years experience! FU!!!! I cannot say that loud enough. I hate this fricking job and this company is a joke. I just gave myself a raise: sht for pay = less hours for me to work in a day! I betcha I could get a Primary Care job that would give me a raise from this laughable base and offer better benes. In fact, I shall make that my mission for the next six months. It sure won't be to work for Merck.

I they wanted to break our spirits they did a very good job: "great selling" BTW I did not get my entire bonus as stated by the good ole CTL seems an S1 rating means you don't deserve it.

I feel your pain. Underneath all those encouraging words to you to aspire to be an exec are the following: "You are costing us a lot...when will you retire? Do you need a PIP to retire? We really don't care for all the vacation days you have these days...you ask too many questions at meetings...we prefer young (cheap) reps that will jump when we say so..we need reps with better smile and legs."
