I have worked for quest for over a decade. Over the past 6 years I have worked from home and drawn full paychecks and produced zero work. Don't flatter yourself. You are not the only reason Quest is butting up against failure. And if you are a salesperson you have to be doing more than just "checking your email". The reports that are pulled and distributed that demonstrate how many times you have logged onto your iPad and when, what electronic sales resources you have accessed, how often and what time of day - the list goes on. Everyone has a manager and even if yours is terrible, that person would get a clue pretty quickly about what activities your are involved with. Even if your numbers are good despite you, there are conference calls, meetings to attend, other reps to "collaborate" with...nice fantasy though...

The vast ocean of opportunity that is Quest Diagnostics is overwhelming for many. Perhaps you should be serving up whalers at a drive thru in a much smaller pond.

Clearly, you are not in Sales at Quest or you would know that you can't slide by doing nothing. This organization is far too micromanaged to get by with doing nothing. Now you can get by without actually producing but you have to at least go through the motions and log the activity or your team leader supervisor of a wannabe "regional manager" would be all up in your arse.

HAHAHAHA easy to do, log into SF throughout the day dummy up reports show your face to a client now and then and fill your pipeline with bullshit something will stick. It's done everyday quest has nothing to "sell" it's all managed care we buy the business and get cap rates in return no wonder this company is circling
