I have worked for quest for over a decade. Over the past 6 years I have worked from home and drawn full paychecks and produced zero work. Over the last few years I noticed an increase in layoffs and re-orgs. Every time these things happen I am convinced that I will be let go, and it would be justifiable. About 5 years ago I noticed that my "boss" did not acknowledge me as an employee of his, He was then let go and I have not heard anything since. I found another job here locally and since then I have been receiving two paychecks. One from quest, for doing lord only knows what... and another from my real job.
I check my emails on a daily basis, but no one knows that I exist, or what function I serve or contributions I make to the company. So I want to say thank you to quest, for having a stellar upper management team who makes my dream lifestyle possible.
Sincerely Don't.Even.Try@questdiagnostics.com
