Can we please coach the woman in HR to behave like a rational human being? Seriously, she doesn't do her job, provides less than no support and then acts condescending? She alone makes On Call a joke.

Amen to that! She came to our National Sales Meeting and told all the OnCall reps"Contract reps don't get raises! Contract reps don't get raises !" Some of us have been here for over 2 years and no evaluation and no raise. Never mind that their Employee Handbook says an employee will get a yearly evaluation. I've worked for several of the contract companies and have gotten reviews and raises every year. Wonder how long that excuse of a manager would work for a company that said "you will never get a raise."

Right, I'll call her because she's open to feedback and will undoubtedly respond well to constructive feedback. No, she's useless and condescending and really the ideal target for posts like these.

Let's hope the person who controls her strings sees this and knows she's the weakest link.

Has anyone else had the pleasure to have a phone conversation with her where she states "I'm taking my HR hat off now" those are the best, especially when you record the phone conversation and all the illegal things she states.
 
Interesting comments since the HR Manager did not even attent the National Sales Meeting. Sounds like some of you are whiney cowards. I find her to be helpful and insightful. Maybe the only "abrasive" ones are the cowards posting on here instead of speaking to her directly.

This is very interesting since she did not even attend the National Sales Meeting. She has always been helpful to my calls and requests. I think some of you are nothing more than whiney cowards who are very unhappy just to be unhappy; not to mention liars. Always looking for something to complain about but too timid to call her up and say these things to her directly. Sounds like the real clowns are those too afraid to speak up except online behind your pathetic anonymous posts. She could not have said the things you quote as she did not attend. Try another lie or something else to whine about.
 
You are correct...she was not at the National Sales Meeting. However, many will tell you that she is rude and condescending when she speaks to people. From my experience there are also areas such as benefits where she is lacking in knowledge. I wouldn't have such an issue with the lack of knowledge if she wasn't so rude to people.

Sorry, but she DID attend our client pharm company sales meeting. She was there to speak to
the paying client and to answer numerous questions the contract reps had. She was given 30 min during the NSM to address the OnCall contract reps separately from the manufacturer
reps. THAT is when she stated "contract reps don't get raises." There were about 12 contract reps there as well as the National Sales Manager for the client. I know it sounds so horrific and
unbelievable and unprofessional but it's the awful truth.

This thread went awry but I have to say the HR Department is horrible. I am really enjoying the company but human resources is disappointing. The person I have dealt with is severely lacking in knowledge and condescending.
