HR Read this - Layoff the people who want out

If an employee is unhappy and doesn't want to work for NVS anymore, offer them a package.

I would gladly take a small severence and able to collect unemployment if this was offered. I am unhappy and not motivated. Lay me off and keep someone who really likes the company.

If you offered me 4 months severence, 4 months medical, able to collect unemployment, and let me stay until the end of the current quarter, I would be the 1st one in line.

HR - just something to consider

That ain't how it works dude, who says you're ENTITLED to anything? You hate it that much? Be a MAN and QUIT. Unemployment will be a 90% pay cut so what's another 10%?

Life's too short to be fokkering around, time for you to move on dude!!!

Nice to know managers read and respond to CP! Unless you have a reps manager, every rep at NPC feels this way. Stay out of my car, quit coaching, and quit creating problems to manage! Be a man and do your job manager, check your values and behaviors! Quit trying to control things you have no control over! Man up and let the numbers come in. Only a coward would try and manage by intimidation and pressure! If you want to babysit go run a daycare were you are actually the smart one for a change.

Well, it's not quite that simple. I was one of the lucky ones to get the severance and step right into a new job. That severance money is nice. I used some of mine to buy the wife some new boobs. They look awesome! Only problem is I can't play with them for a few more weeks. The wait is killing me. She was hot before, but the hardware upgrade is unbelievable.

Take my advice....don't wait around for a severance! The market is saturated with unemployed drug reps and I'm on my 4th month of unemployment with no solid prospects in sight. If a better opportunity comes along, take it now.

Awesome dude! Since she's got the new rack, she can take over your job and double your numbers. It's all about the RACK. If novartis won't hire her, get her practicing on the chrome pole for her next job.

I am not entitled to anything from NVS, but in turn I get a paycheck and do not care about the job or the company. So keep me around, give me a paycheck, and I am not entitled to anything. Why would I quit? I paycheck for working a couple hours a day.

The point of the OP is get rid of me, a bad apple, and replace me with a good apple. The cost of that move is severence money and being able to collect unemployment. If HR doesn't do that I will just continue to take up space. Life is too short to leave with nothing.

Depends on how you look at it. In my mind, life is too short to stay here waiting on some measley amount of money that in the big scheme of things is nothing. I can't breathe in this place. I'm outta here. Enjoy your severance and unemployment benefits.
