It really depends on why you were fired. When you are let go, the manager and HR take a number of things into consideration, including previous record, offense, and attitude when you were let go. Often times, they will consider you for rehire as long as your offense was not too egregious and you didn't act like a total a$$ when you were escorted out of the building.
