How will the change in structure affect pharma and device reps? I mean we already have to jump through hoops just to pitch the product, let alone actually get the penny piching bastards to see value in anything.

You can kiss R&D goodbye... who wants to invest any time, effort or money into anything that you know has a snowball's chance in hell of getting any return on investment. New products will likely get few approvals and what few approvals there are, patients will have little opportunity or ability to get it. Can you say GENERICS for everyone? Devices.... forget it, Remember Obama was quoted as saying "Tell Grandma she doesn't need a pacemaker, just tell her to take a pill"
Reps are screwed, pharmaceutical and device companies are screwed, but moreover the health and well-being of America are SCREWED!!!
 






I do remember that. I know he wants to tax the balls off of everything that is considered a device. The US healthcare system will be 100% controled buy our retarded government! We are getting closer and closer to communism!

I am in med device, but just got into the industry about 6 months ago. I guess I better crush it while I can.

it is looking more and more like this guy is going to get voted out of office. Give us a Republican controlled senate and a Republican Pres. and we can repeal this loser bill.

As a device rep, this is simply "Business 101." My company will just pass the tax on to the Doctor, either explicitly or built into the cost of the good.

I am not saying the Republicans are angels, but if they are committed to repealing this wasteland of a piece of legislation, they will have my full support.

Remember, we have to pass the bill to see what is in it...Nancy Pelosi. At least I don't have to see her on TV as much anymore. Nothing sadder than a 70 year old woman trying to be 40 again.

Our great leader is a Marxist pig. His demeanor and arogance shows what a total sociopath he is. He doesn't care about the American citizen. His goal is control....of everything. An oligarchy if you will......He needs to be voted out....it will be a batlle that needs to be won.

All that said, I wouldn't mind returning to 4% unemployment and about half the debt and FAR LESS SUFFOCATING REGULATIONS. Sounds pretty damn good to me.
