When they created the clavicle fracture market, the scaphoid screw market and others they had little competition much less hospital contracts to worry about. Now that every company is chasing the lure of the "small joint extremity market" the competition is strident.
With the leadership now restricting the amount of instrument sets available to the field they still will not grasp that their main competition is the WRAPPED, inferior tray on the shelf available to be used.
Like so many in management they feel they can "manage" their way out of the dark times coming. Let's squeeze this rock a little harder, trim the fat. Like so many manufactures they feel their sales channel is the problem where it is probably their salvation. We'll see.....
