How much does a 10 year Pfizer rep make?

I am talking about a PCP rep with no prior pharma. Coming in at 50K? Maybe a one time trip winner.

I think the typical pharma rep coming in at 50K with 10 years can expect about a 80-85K base.

Since Pfizer pays top in the industry, I am going to assume 90K. Sound right?

Why does everybody think Pfizer is the best for salary. It cracks me up. I make just under 90K at King and haven't been here that long. And as far as I know, our bonuses are larger than pfizer's also.

King rep here and some of us make over 100K for sure. Most in the 80-90 range. We know our bonuses are being cut also..used to make over 35-45 a year. Target bonus at PFE is under 20K. Ugh.

Wyeth/Pfizer 9 years, terrible raise year of merger 2%. Did great with numbers and made about $13000 bonus. Place in career track in the middle of a level, will take at least 3 years to bump. Decent increase this year and my salary is only $74,000

76 base here. Been w Pfizer 9 years. Started around 50. Vpc x2. Live in the south, do this salary goes far. Bonuses no longer as lucrative but benefits great. Bonuses have averaged 13-15 per year.

Your yearly merit increase and your career ladder increase are separate things. If you're in the middle of a level you can get to the next level in 2 years.

If you were doing "great" with numbers you would have made more than $13,000.

No, not with my bag. Blowing out Chantix doesn't pay shit. A-side bonus is garbage unless you had Toviaz in growth mode. And no shit merit and career ladder is different. Wyeth got crap for merit increases. It was decent this year. Mid level with a manager that never gives above a meets will take more than 2 years to bump. Bottom line - pay at Pfizer is far from best in industry. Benefits are great, I am in the mid west so my money is fine, but my King counterparts make far more than I do.

This is horrible. Pfizer sucks. Sucks we got bought by this big giant piece of shit. Please lay me off. This job is not worth doing for that little money. Sucks everyday being out there, but money makes it worth it to the family. You Pfizer people are getting fucked. Now, King reps will as well.
