How many will make the Prolia Q1 goal

Need help

I'm curious; it's getting close to the end of the month, what percent of territories will make their goal? Obviously not me, I'm only at 33 so far and I'm doing everything I can but at this point, I'm not sure I can get 17 in the next few days? Does that mean I'm going on a plan? Help? For those of you that are going to make the goal, please share your secrets, I'm doing everything I can? It's not fair that all territories are expected to sell the same number of syringes? Different nationalities, different age groups, different coverage options, HELP!

Great new data released today, hopefully once we get trained on this, it will help us. Notice the primary endpoint that was studied was osteopenia, not pure osteoporosis. Hmmmmm, this goes back to our indications, how to you truly want us promoting Prolia?

My guess will be that 60-70 % will not hit 50 syringes. The last VP showed the medium to be at 25 as of the end of Feb. This comp plan sucks! Feel bad for people that won't make money despite all the effort.

Only two more days before the end of the month, the PRESSURE is on. So is we don't make plan, will we be placed on a plan?? Seriously, I'm working as hard as I can, what more can I do?

Don't you see that I posted that early in the am, I can't even sleep! Amgen do you see what you are doing, completely ruining my life! All I do is eat, cry and not sleep! I fly off the handle and I truly can't help it! I don't need any more field travel days with my Manger, are you kidding me! I jsut hope I don't go on a plan! I seriously don't know what I will do at that point!

Why are reps so worried about going on a plan? It seems to me that the ones who should be worried did an incredibly poor job:

1) performing the proper market research in both specialty and primary care
2) assessing buy and bill vs. retail in primary care
3) estimating what the sales potential would be in the average territory

Everyone knows that the planning involved in this launch was terrible from day one, hence the "strategy du jour" changes.

It's obvious that impossible goals have been set forth in order to save money. If most of the field doesn't reach goal - "oh well" the company saves a few million dollars. They know the job market is virtually non-existent in pharma sales so people can't just leave.

Where are the AMGEN values? Where is the equity? I bet not one T.O. person goes on a plan. If you ask me it's discriminatory.

RIP, Jean Weekes. You all do know that you can call Colleen Kill to find out what kind of pressure Jean was under when she came to a misfortunate end. A culmination of Amgen pressing reps to attend a special training before more than three weeks data was available really drives people to the limits of sanity. Colleen, Chris, understand the market you are NOW playing in...primary care. I don't post this to disparage Jean or Jean's family's name, but there's no doubt in my mind that the terminal stresses of this job and Amgen lack of support of the BHBU salespeople is making people lose more than sleep. Whoever the douche bag is telling people to shut and sell must have a stellar record in the books and that's why you peruse CafePharma, right? Suck it...

Re Jean Weeks, I knew her and had spoken to her right before her death and there is no doubt in my mind that the pressure from Amgen and the BHBU was affecting her and everyone else in this unit. Half of the people in this unit have gone on antidepressants and/ or anti-anxiety pills! The people at the top need to go, not all of the great reps that are rapidly jumping ship to get off of this sinking boat. We are literally killing ourselves out here 7 days a week and making zero bonus. I am looking for a way out. So unfortunate. This company sold us a bill of goods and then pulled a bait and switch.
