how many hours are hospital reps working per day?

I work 12hrs day easily. Sometimes more. Anyone else?

with the impossible restriction of access at any major hospt. it is not ever going to be making a few calls and hitting the gym or gold course. You have to wait in the lounge for a sig, that could take 2-4 yours and may not even be the doc you need the sig from. I told my DM last week no more bullshit sitting in the vending lounge eating milki ways and watching Ellen and Kathy lee on my cell phone.

We either get access or I do not leave the house and will go work my second job and fake the fuck out of the inst. sig's just to check the boz. I cannot see 99% of my super targets due to new hospt. guidelines on res vistas. Only allowed in the halls on campus with permission of the dean, not happening........this job will be history in 3 months time you can bet on that.

No access means no job. The DM's in non access territories will get chopped as well so it is not just the reps, its the whole bag of shit that is finally getting the gong show.........my DM is interviewing daily to get out and go bck to being a rep with a small territory and no samples, he is a good guy, understands that golf, and staying in shape come first and being a secretary comes second if not third. Sure he will fire a few of you whom he does not like but the rest of you, gt your rs. out there and do not get caught with your hands loose, this was a set up to fail job from start to finish.

Obviously a BS post from a non-hospital rep, because the jack a$$ thinks we need signatures.

The job is tough, the hours are long many days, and it is not an easy sell. That's why our comp package is in six figures. If it was easy and anyone could do it the job would pay $60K/year and the idiot who wrote the post I quoted would have the job. Good money = hard work. That used to be the American way....

Who's the a-hole that has it in for the Boston rep? I wish you would identify yourself. You're probably a loser that got passed over for job. Now fuck off and cash that unemployment check.

As a long time hsptl rep and new to forest, i began working a few days a week, now it is more like Mondays and Thursday afternoons, if I cannot see a sole or cannot step foot on the campus, I gold, shop, and hit the pool.......do what you need to do. This job is not about what hours you work, it is about the hours you do not work...
