How long till DM is gone

I cant believe DM has lasted this long, but how long can someone miss their number year end year out. DM should definately step down or be let go so this boat can get turned back upright. I am shocked that he can still be with the company or any company for that matter.

Personally I think he should have been let go when he hired SM, I still laugh when I think about SM's speech at the National Sales meeting. What VP reads his speech from note cards lol. And than the fact that we almost had to get him an oxygen tank cause he couldn't breath while he was talking (we all know what SM looks like when he is blushing). That went down as the worst presentation I have ever seen. I just pray he doesnt come to my territory to give any presentations lol. SM, you are not a VP nice changes on the comp plan, now nobody will make 150,000 this year.
 






DM will be around as long as JC is the CEO. JC will be around as long as EC is alive, which might not be that long. When EC passes on, look out. The first division to go might be ES.
 



DM's days are numbered. Vessel Sealing is a joke, it will be obsolete the day before it is launched! ES numbers will fall far short of budget for the year. Patience has worn thin in New York for DM and his promises.

New York is giving him enough rope to hang himself! Oh my, what will SM do without his fearless leader!

This flame out will be fun to watch!
 



I see Utica canning DM and SM at the same time. That is the only way to stop the insanity and begin to right this ship and to attempt to restore a positive culture. Conmed Electrosurgery has to be the most heavy handed managed company relative to what the company actually brings to the table in the market. Puleeeze...Goldvac is what the company has staked the company's and reps futures on?!!

We'll see if JC has a clue.
 



As long as the old man EC is a live, ES will be in the ConMed family. However, once EC passes on, it will free up JC sell the division to a J&J, Megadyne, etc.

However, if EC is smart, he will try to buy-on a few household name hospitals and then say "see--we have the whole package, and we're gaining LV market share", and sell before reality sets in.

Ask yourself this question--have you ever heard of a company called Aragon? Probably not.

Here's a little company in California that launched large-vessel sealing about two years ago. Not only does it seal larger vessels (up to 12 mm), but articulates!!!! How in hell is ConMed going to compete with that?

How does a little company like this not only beat ConMed to the market, but comes out with a superior product?

ConMed's management is so pompous, and the salesforce so naive, the pressure to sell this already obsolete commodity will be painful.
