"The Peptide Therapeutic Discovery Department at Novo Nordisk Research Center Indianapolis, Inc. (NNRCI) will focus on the discovery of peptide and protein-based bio-therapeutics for the treatment of diabetes and obesity. This position will play a critical role in moving projects from target validation to clinical candidate selection."

very happy that the big red dinosaur is no longer the only game in town

"know what I mean Vern?"

Lilly is threatened by new ideas. People like DiMarchi are too creative. Novo clearly saw potential in DiMarchi's companies (Calibrium and Marcadia). Lilly had a chance to partner or buy in, but they declined. No wonder Novo is kicking Lilly's butt in diabetes!

Here's how low the pettiness is; they wanted to set up HQ downtown, but jcl would have none of that, so he had baaaaaaaaart pull some strings and the space was suddenly unavailable. So, RD went one up and called Mitch, who said "we'd love to have you as part of Purdue's Tech. Incubator, we've got plenty of room for you at our campus near the Indy Airport", so that's where they went.

Should have given them the whole old airport, free. It's an eyesore.

Novo is smart, they'd figger it out, know what I mean, VVern?

Lilly is already getting its ass kicked by Novo...and it will only get worse! Novo now has DiMarchi (Mr. Humalog) and Lilly has Beals and Bumol, the two incompetents that came up with peglispro: aka "the world's most dangerous insulin". So bad they could not even submit it to the FDA. What a joke!
