Yes a consent of decree has pushed back deal until May, but you are a fucking drama queen!

With an economic recession on the horizon, does it still make sense to buy a company who sells mainly luxury products (Botox, Fillers, Breast Implants)? Is there a chance AbbVie decides to pull out with a penalty?

beyond the penalty, it will be disaster for stock prices of both companies which will translate into less executive compensation. deal will go through. 1-2 quarters of fewer Botox shots won't make a difference to this calculus

Man you called it. Negative oil prices now. Sad thing, once oil recovers, it will be more expensive compared to pre-COVID
 






Did Abbv or AGN take any of the fed money? A merger would be a no no in that environment. People are itchy, don't give them a reason to scratch.

No one is merging now. I think this is postponed and chalked up to an exogenous event. Does not feel right. It's too much damn work. And even if it did go through, what then?

We will see.
