How good are your marketing people?

There are a number of openings on your marketing team, and I have the background of marketing in orphan diseases, hematology, nephrology, and the things that the careers page says are valuable. Before I take the plunge, can you give me some insight into your marketers?

Are they realists who know what it is like to be in sales and deal with the real-world objections and hurdles you face, or did they come from places and programs where they think they know their stuff but really don't?
