You are right. Those that owned their performances and added value at every turn have been rewarded with oversaturated, postage stamp size territories a short two hours drive from their homes.
Account Managers who owned their performance now get the benefit of handling accounts served by two different labs in two states. The musical chairs of books of business is just an added bonus.

Solstas reps could not be treated any worse than we have been so far. We've been lied to at every turn, led to lie directly to our customers about upcoming changes and force fed a crappy territory which nobody wants. We have not been told what the comp plan will be but we have to make a decision without the information we need. We have 3 options:
1. Sign a detailed non-compete, accept the tiny territory that nobody wants that has been offered and wait to hear what the crappy comp plan will be. Essentially, accept what is being shoved down our throats.
2. Quit in the next 10 days without a job, no severance and no chance at getting paid anything on the 12 months of payout Solstas owed us. Then we're out of work with no pay or benefits but avoid signing the non-compete.
3. Find another job in the next 10 days, leave without notice, no severance and no chance at getting paid anything on the 12 months of payout Solstas owed us. At least we have a job and avoid signing the non-compete. How realistic is finding a new job in 10 days?
