How did they do it?

I am mystified that a company that is relatively unknown to the general public managed to cause such havoc to the medical community and yet very few people know about it? The drug shortages put many people within the medical community as well as many patients in terrible situations. Physicians are sued every day, car manufacturers and the list goes on and on for grievances much, much smaller then this. Hospira has been relatively unscathed by their actions. Not only has Hospira been unscathed but the people responsible for the shortages have been and continue to be rewarded with millions of dollars. One person has managed to sue the company because of their neglect in supplying life saving pharmaceuticals. That is it, one person. Go figure.

Could have Hospira colaborated with other drug companys to create the shortage so they could demand a higher profit margin? Another one of the questions that only the top floor could answer. Think they will?

No one in the American body politic looks after the best interest of the voter...they take care of the corporate and banking interests that finance them. This goes for the president, the congress, the supreme court, and the various government regulatory agencies like the FDA.
