How bout that Friday afternoon email?

any thoughts on the Tim S. email that was sent out at 4:08 today?

No surprises..our jobs will be changing beginning sometime in the fourth quarter. The rumor of widespread layoffs in the sales force just aren't true. It's nice to see that the changes will be cascaded down so that our individual managers and directors will have a say in who does what jobs. It appear there will be different types of rep positions going forward.

I read it three times, and I don't think it told a lot of anything. It sounds like there will be at least some procedurally based reps. There was really no information on how many rep positions, how many lay offs, or what any position will pay. The only thing I think we can count on at this point (for those who remain) is current JNJ benefits.
And, what will happen to base salaries? Pruden has stated several times he wants rep income to be more variable comp based.

I was happy to finally get something in writing that gives a concrete time frame.........removes some of the guess work as to when things will happen, unfortunately we still have to wait to find out what those changes will be. fHopefully the changes will be good ones and not just some high level crap because upper management is soooo out of touch with reality.

Wait a second what are you working for ... Me I am working to save money so I can invest and make more money, So I don't have to work .

I don't want a higher ( I will Take it really ) Salary I want upside commission dollars . Yes I am An Executive Rep and have a great salary . BUT SHOW ME THE MONEY >>>

One of the many rumors is lower base ($65ish, which is lower for EES reps, not INC) and capped commissions.

yep. 5 more years for me then free health care for life . The entire industry is changing very quickly . Seems the real money in the present and in the future is for independent reps or start ups.

agreed.....no longer a need to work for benefits.....soon it will be free for all, so why work at a crummy thankless, demotivating job just for the health insurance?........can't wait for national healthcare, I too, will be subsidized by the government.
