How are sales? Commissions in #baxter 2020

So we eliminate an Icon (Sal) and forget about the historical knowledge and experience he has had to keep us inline. In infinite wisdom I’m sure Meg will feel it is adequate to put a Baxter intern in place to take up the clinical knowledge and experience

It just goes to show, Meg does not value experience and clinical knowledge the one thing that differentiates us from J&J. She did the same in Michigan putting a manager in place with no prior experience in managing or sales and it shows how lost he is. We have zero respect for both

Well stated, spot on. She has no idea how our products are sold. With 30% turnover the last several years, you better be able to clinically train our teams if not our products will become commodities.

First, I'll start by saying I like Sal personally. Professionally was another story. He brought more cringes and eye rolls than anything. You shouldn't have a glorified foot and ankle surgeon (aka podiatrist) be your front man for products. His insight was only around the IFU's and he made training a joke. Literally. His version of training was more like an off the strip Vegas comedy act while assigning stupid nicknames than preparing you to be ready to sell in an OR. Again, nice guy but better lounge singer than medical company trainer (or whatever his title was supposed to be).

Druhot is really not getting the RM role and is in over his head. His team is putting up a front and gritting their teeth dealing with him. I don't think Rick sees that yet but once he's able to get back into the field, he'll know soon enough.

Sal was a creep and I almost quit more than once during training. Glad he is gone. Also, I wish I trusted my intuition and quit before ruing my resume with a few years at Baxter.

What is wrong with you???? Dude was hand chosen by Meg, from the illustrious Lake Forest MBA program mind you.

Rick has no leg to stand on for a while until dude gets promoted or moves on to a better company with another notch on his career belt. Rick is sterile until Druhot screws up so badly or leaves for brighter pastures.

The good ones have done that for more than a decade here in Adv Surgery.

I liked Sal. He's energetic and knows the products well (unlike leadership). Maybe J&J would pick him up.

His nice buyout won’t allow it for one year....Sal will fine. He was in the pension program with a high salary for well more than a decade. Baxter will hire a med school dropout who as ‘high intellectual IQ & intellectual awareness’ ..... whatever that means, to take his place for half the price. All is well, remain calm.
Don’t mind the current backorders either

SD will have this role for a year or so and then move on. This is part of the plan to get him some field management experience and then move him up. He put his name in for the ASD role a year or so ago but didn't have any relative experience in the field. Best thing for his team (or are they still Hall's?) would be for him to realize this and find a marketing role to go back to. We all know those positions don't need much experience.

Sal, is that you?
