Yesterday's bloodbath for King surreal. Rec'd call from DBM who was also RIF. What a day. Looking at this company with new eyes. Next 3 yrs here will be interesting.

Wow....I'm trying to figure out if you're a complete idiot, or just an a## who's not stupid. I also was let go with a severance, and agree it's like a weight lifted. How do you not understand that?? We've had months and months to be ready for this, so most still here (many already gone) have been interviewing or at least networking, and had a plan, expecting it. Don't need the car anymore, or the expense account (no more office lunches!)...my head has never been up anyone's arse, I've been living in reality my whole life... which is why I'm ready, along with many others, and won't need the unemployment checks. And I did not vote for O. How do you not understand this?

well said! Preparation is key! We have all (if smart) been looking networking. Many have offers or soon to be offers. Small biotech is the way to go.
