The beauty is that trip Weiland took to Alaska with the corporate jet wasn't to go hunting but was to see Providence Hospital.
This number in USA today fails to include the golf memberships, use of the retreat in Florida, free lunches in Murray Hill, cost to use the company jet (charged at the price of a first class ticket when used for personal not the 10 k per hour it really costs to run the jet), lease of a first rate vehicle, driver for company limo, etc. Great meals and all the booze you can drink on the jet! It's great to have your own jet!
It's a good life and every CEO should earn at least 25 Million. It's easy to justify this when you do so much for the shareholders. Look how the stock has risen and how they have benefited! Stock the board with other CEO's and put them on your compensation committee. Everyone does it! Greed is good!
