Houston glidescope Position

Also interested in the position . Any feed back from current employees

Do your homework and research the role.
The recruiter and hiring manager will only sugar it up, take the initiative to reach out to the former TM or visit a local hospital to get accurate feedback. From there you should be able to make an educated decision.

The GS role is great because the products are robust and the residiual business is steady. The turnover rate for GS is much lower in comparison to the BS role where reps make much less and they come and go every month. Avoid that role at all costs. If youre looking to get into medical sales for the first time, its a good opportunity. Good luck.

GS is a solid product and owns the market in cart based systems. Problem is you can only put so many of them at a facility. Some OR’s have 1 system in every room. Growth is somewhat minimal. More maintaining, replacing broken stuff. Work life balance is phenomenal, pay is meh. If it’s a 1 mil capital territory comp will be around $200k

GS does not own the market by a long shot . We are getting hammered on all fronts from the competition . $200k for a million dollar territory yeah right .

U said it brotha. GS and VL in general is no longer a cutting edge concept. There are so many players out there that every company has an airway product...many of which are better in performance and more competitive in price. We’re getting squeezed out everywhere and my regional manager could care less. $200k ote is a pipe dream. Tell your receuiter to dig deeper.

Almost guarantee this is a manager making this post. You will not make 200k in that role your first year, I'd quit my job today, move to TX if that was the case. The product is nearly 15 years old with little to no innovation. They have had serious recall issues and competitors are starting up in that space every year. Also, you will not be placing 100 units a year in any territory, that's over 8 units a month, good luck.

Do your homework.
-The manager has run off more than half of her team in less than two years.
-They have had 3 different presidents in 7 years.
-The company and recruiters are lying about compensation (using last year bonus structure-when now the bonus will be about 2,000-3,000 a quarter).
-Signostics made a better cheaper bladderscanner (plus took our best reps and management) and Storz makes a better scope with more attachments.
-We have so many NEW upper management positions that do nothing---so they have to cut our commissions to cover them.
-If reps are making their number corp will raise quota and change bonus plan mid year to make sure we get screwed.
-The houston rep killed it. Good luck finding anything to sell BECAUSE we have nothing new.

Come join the fun!

The Houston glidescope territory is open again . Was the position ever filled ? If it was what happened to the last rep ? Is the job worth looking into ? Thanks for any responses .
