Hospital Sales Position

prior hospital reps left cuz Cadence purchased Malli moved in and changed culture and raised ofirmev 140 percent cuzing burned bridges. surgical sales new team arrives to gain back surgeons in hospitals that want to keep ofirmev "out" per price. not a job to take in my opinion and everyone is unhappy and managers staying only to get bonuses in may and then they are outa here

realistic bonus is $6000 a qtr for 75% of company . it is uncapped bla bla bla but 6k is what you should plan for minus your 1st qtr bonus guarantee of 9500. Salary is very reasonable and above avg to industry. Not micromanaged but upper management has not demonstrated to me that they have a clue of this business. On the plus side they are currently buying companies.
if you want a place to work vs career and dont mind making a small bonus you should consider it.
Since i came aboard I have seen or understand the key issues are drug has lost share for 10 months in a row due to price gauging strategy implemented when MNK took over. MNK upper mgnt may be scratching their heads on why business is not reaching a laughable yearly goal that not one HSS, DSm, RSD, etc ever thought possible to obtain. Now they are throwing office based reps into hospitals hoping they will magically and overnight change sales. This goes back to upper mgmt really having no idea about this selling space and the May 2014 decision to make future sales today at the expense of future sales growth.
Now I am not planning on leaving so soon but this is fair view of what you are joining.

Most co nowadays don't make big bonuses anymore anyways. Just want good base some bonus and not to be micromanaged. Didn't they buy ikaria too? New product for the hospital division?

This info looks pretty spot on. Some additional insight: The several acquisitions are adding to market capitalization. With the new acquisition rules, this makes MNK bigger, so as to possibly be acquired by a bigger company.

Also spot on is--MNK management has no idea how to run this company. They look like the keystone cops. The probable best thing for us is to BE ACQUIRED. Maybe get some sales leadership that has a clue.
