Hospital Reps not doing the job but complain loudly!

Spoken like a true Daliresp rep! At least TF is a good drug...can't say the same for that crap you sell. Selling in a hospital is COMPLETELY different than collecting 10 signatures per day. Marketing stands behind the hospital sales force whereas management is solely concerned with DOTs and pissing off our accounts.

I hear the exact opposite. The numbers should be better. Hospital reps are not getting ir together and heads will roll. Marketing is not happy with the situation in Texas. The hospital numbers just are not there.

Second poster is correct. Heads have been rolling since the launch of the drug. I've spoken to many people in Marketing and they understand the process in launching a new antibiotic. You just can't ask for a doctor to use TF...there's so much more going on....pharmacy cost controls, antibiotic subcommittees, hospital politics....just to name a few

Aaaaahhhh....clueless retail rep making comments about something they know nothing about. Funny... in addition to all the hospital politics etc. about a new antibiotic, how about collateral damage? That is the main reason this drug is restricted to ID and will continue to be. I love all the talk about "lifting restrictions". What a joke. Will never happen. And how about the institutional ISTs? A joke. They are the most expendable in this company. Time to get rid of them and save each region 300k a year. (2 ISTs per region)

While you are at it I think you could probably get rid of most of the district managers too. Most of them offer nothing... no IV antibiotic experience and no hospital sales experience. Just have some central person managing all the bullsh*t spreadsheet and reports and you could save a TON of money!!!
