The head of Quality, who got Rocky Mount to the point where the last inspection had zero observations has been put in charge of the Visag plant. Furthermore, people from other plants that have had good inspections recently are being sent to Visag to work through the issues. This plant is important in helping to mitigate drug shortages in the U.S. The hope is that the FDA will re-inspect before the end of the year. The CEO said on the last conference call with Wall Street that it will probably require a re-inspection. The possibility does exist, although it isn't a high probability, that this plant won't be approved this year.
