These requirements have been in the regulations for 15+ years and Hospira is now just trying to work on them?
Interesting that Hospira has to make it a formal management practices of making management accountable for paying attention to issues - and providing the resources to address and fix issues. If the culture and management performance review doesn't organically support these practices, then it is a losing battle to try to force it through cumbersome procedures - that management will only manipulate and sweep under the rug to remain rewarded in the current culture.
