Horrible incentive comp plan

You’re not happy about being able to make a whole $3,000 before taxes if you hit your goal each quarter? That’s the kind of money every sales person in America dreams about. And just think, if you hit goal every quarter all year then you can save enough money to take a family of four on a nice vacation to the beach and stay in a very modest 3 star hotel.

Oh Aand if you’re district of 12 teammates will get out and work and hit their goals then you can stack another $3,000 dollars on top of that. Lol

Add all that together and it’s still the lowest bonus system in the industry but you can control your $3k before taxes haha

Do they know we have the worst comp plan In the industry

The answer is yes, they do know. But they don't care. Lilly not only has the worst comp plan, but they are likely the lowest paying pharma company out in these streets. I have friends at other pharma companies making wayyyyy more money than I am and when I bring it up to my DM he always comments about the Lilly culture, and that we have a summer shutdown when other companies do not. Screw the culture - I want to be paid accordingly!

I have recently interview with 6 or so other oncology companies, both big pharma and small biotech. The target bonus payout at Lilly was $37 or $38,000 in 2021 (the actual payout was in the $20s iirc). The lowest I have seen at another company is $45,000 with $50,000 most common and one at $55,000.

Lmao at the pension. I mean it can be good to have but has anyone used the pension calculator and then done the math on what you could be making at a better paying company?

Our pension isn’t that great
