As desperate as they want you to feel DONT! I was a schering person imported into oncology. Merck has treated me like dirt since the merger, my former counterpart made 50 yes 50k more than me in base. My CTL (a liar) said to me repeatedly that we made the same money. Well my former colleague who is awesome and mercks loss showed me a pay stub he printed- and wow its DOUBLE my salary.

But I got the dream job today, no longer a merck rep in a dying division led by a lying group of fools.

And there are jobs out there for good people, with real talent. Dont buy into the lucky to have a job thing.

Ill say it again... Another failed attempt to stir the pot.. Would you like some advice? When trying to ruffle others' feathers, try injecting some factually based or relevant information. Simply saying "I don't like you and I will be glad to see you go" will not even warrant responses. Keep trying you'll get better!
