We should all hope for an 8 Billion dollar sale. This is what the company is worth. A sale of more than this will cause the buyer to squeeze the company for every dime to make up the difference which will mean the loss of jobs at B&L.

Hope WP take the 8 Billion dollar offer.
 






So funny how people want the WP to sell. I assure you none of these jokers are currently employed by B & L. The fact is anyone wanting a sale would be those that stand to gain the most, and that is only BOARD Level and maybe some high VPS. Everyone else could be on the streets or at the mercy of a phone call to determine your status. So dont listen to these clowns saying they should sell, or are selling, etc. Lets hope for and IPO and B & L can go public again to continue its long legacy of business.

IPO will not yield more than 8 billion and has a risk of much much less. WP will sell for 8 billion real soon.

We have to under-work to survive. If we work too hard the company will hit the threshold for it to be sold and then we all lose our jobs. Eat, Drink and be Merry for in three years we file an IPO.
 












b&l isn't worh 8 billion.
I'ts not worth 6.

It's worth exactly what they paid, plus what they have bought in the years since.
which is about 6.

With last in class contacts, me too Rx, 3rd place IOLs, late to market phaco.
I don't even see the six but I could understand the valuation for a really big company looking to expand into ophthalmics and pick up the OTC solutions.

Are you refering to sleeping with each other in offices? only to be walked in on by the cleaning lady and then pretend like noone knows there was an affair going on?
