Can someone offer some honest advice... Im looking at an opportunity with this company and I want to know if this is a good place to make a career for myself? I am not afraid of working hard I just want to be rewarded for my efforts. I don't care about the car, I just care about my job and not being micromanaged or treated poorly. I am confident in my abilities so just give me some real advice here, is this company a good place to be? Thanks

If you are unemployed, take the job.

-> late commission checks

-> cancellation or downward modification of compensation plan with no advance notice to sales reps

-> quarterly layoffs

What's NOT to love? Take the job! Duh.

Yes. Best company in pharma. You will not regret your 3 month career with The Medco!

It really comes down to the type of culture that you believe that you will thrive in. There are some wonderful people in this organization. The potential in the pipeline is immense. However, the cold dark truth is that there is an undercurrent in the organizations culture that breeds malicious self-serving approaches to success. There is a large disconnect between the reality of market dynamically and realistic sales forecasting..with small moments of sanity interspersed that provide hope that all is not last.
Manic is the one word that describes it best. No ill intent...just one anecdotal...opinion.

If you know what good feels like..there will be red flags..don't ignore them. Trust your gut.

I just saw an Angiomax opening. Is this a good opportunity? How much does the company car cost per month? And how much cell phone do you reimburse? Also, how many days does the manager ride with you? And do you do role plays at the initial training? And how much can I spend on breakfast at the initial Angiomax training? Also, is there an opportunity to advance to manager of Ionysis? Im super excited to break into pharma sales!!!
