Come on folks...all pharma co's pay big bucks on developing product training...everything is pre-digested, they want to make it as simple as possible to comprehend....they don't want you to fail (why? it costs them $$$ to retrain or replace you)...try reading the material, doing the online work...wait for the exam answers to magically hit your personal email account...it ain't that tough.

Attention managers: This is what happens when you decide to hire young experienced people as opposed to seasoned pharmaceutical reps. You get what you pay for!

DM here. I would hire a younger, dumb rep over an old whiner that just works the system and complains all day, like you. Plus they are hot and you look like week old bread.

Yeah, riding along with grumpy geezer (guy/gal) complaining about 'how it use to be' or 'we did it this way at big pharma-before getting cut' doesn't sound like fun...

Riding with a PYT all excited about the job, car no longer working at the retail place on weekends who's all ears (plus t&a) when it comes listening what you have to say...plus the view walking into office as you trail along..

Um.. actually hiring young people fresh out of collegee is smart. Not only do they have fresh minds but they are a blank canvas and have the mental capacity to learn subjects such as Anatomy, unlike the geriatric folk who are stuck in their stagnant generation.

Also, I'm going to crush this Invokana and Xarelto training. Try being optimistic.

You are going to "crush" the training? LOL What dimwitted pharma punk you are. Asshole.

I sat and spoke to reps waiting to interview and the majority of them do not have any pharma experience and barely B2B sales. They were asking me what indication meant; side effects; dosage; etc. It was comical but sad to think these are the reps they are hiring for a specialty sales position. But these reps come cheap and obviously Janssen doesn't want to pay. I bet most of the newbies won't last a year in the industry.

Too funny. A dimwitted pharma sample hack like you trying ti get a job at a CSO making fun of other people. You're so stupid you don't even realize how funny that is.

No experience getting hired as specialty? Dream on....
