Bottom line.....we have all had the means with these higher than average paying jobs to be prepared for situations like this. Honestly, I wish that I had better prepared as well. It’s not Lilly’s responsibility to deal with any of our trials and tribulations at home. That’s just life. I think we all need to face reality that we may not go back for a long while and I’m not sure what that means for our future as an industry. As people lose their jobs, they will lose health insurance, which will ultimately impact our industry. Only time will tell. The best thing we can do is be grateful that Lilly is nice enough to keep us employed and save as much money as we can during this difficult time.
