Home schooling kids

Can they please realize we are home schooling our M’fing bored ass, crying children, fighting and delivering grocery’s for our elderly parents, and checking on friends and neighbors. If you are doing this right, you are maxed out w/o these worthless, ridiculous conference calls. Give it a rest, optimistically June is our earliest date to be back in offices, probably longer.

Completely agree with you. I have 4 kids that are at home right now and we are extremely busy just trying to survive. June 1st sounds about right to me as well.

On how many threads will you post this nonsense, Gossip Girl?

Bottom line.....we have all had the means with these higher than average paying jobs to be prepared for situations like this. Honestly, I wish that I had better prepared as well. It’s not Lilly’s responsibility to deal with any of our trials and tribulations at home. That’s just life. I think we all need to face reality that we may not go back for a long while and I’m not sure what that means for our future as an industry. As people lose their jobs, they will lose health insurance, which will ultimately impact our industry. Only time will tell. The best thing we can do is be grateful that Lilly is nice enough to keep us employed and save as much money as we can during this difficult time.

Don’t work for Lilly but agree 99%. We all need to take some personal responsibility for our own situation. I know know one wants to hear it but this is what they mean about “saving for a rainy day” “emergency fund” etc. I am grateful that they are paying me to stay home even though it would be easier to work. I look around and 1 employer alone furloughed 10,000 workers for 4 weeks w/o pay in our community. That is sobering. I am concerned about our jobs, but I am grateful for this “crazy stuff” they are asking me to do right now. Bless everyone and best of luck.
