Can someone tell me why we decided to tape up some BS signs on the doors to the monitoring center that state we are only open M-F 9-5? We clearly have techs working all hours and on the weekends. I just think it's funny to see this when Medicare is scheduled to come in...

I think it's pretty funny too. The monitoring center is open 24/7/365. But that's to be expected from Cardionet. They always put on the best front in the world for visitors.

Medicare wants to see the business hours posted- the time when the BUSINESS office is open. They know about the monitoring center being there 24/7, but Medicare only want to know the hours that they can contact the billing folks or that patients can contact someone about their bill.

Then shouldn't they have put these signs on the front doors rather than just the monitoring center if that is the case? And billing is based on date of service anyway.

For your sake, I hope when you re-read this you notice how stupid it sounds.
No wonder we are sinking fast.
