Good leaders dont have half their team quit. They work for the team and not vice versa. HM never had that quality. He was a loser and single handedly decimated his area.

Did he get canned or did he retire? I know he was planning on retiring around now anyway... But I agree, totally oblivious to what was happening in the field, and would forget everything you said to him the next time you speak to him, and would not follow through on one single thing. Would make promises that would go out the window. The only good thing is you knew pretty much whatever he was saying was bullshit so you wouldn't count on it.
