Our customers are primarily Academic Medical Centers and Teaching Hospitals with active robotic surgery programs who utilize simulation training.
SUMMARY OF POSITION
We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Sales Executive to join our talented team and grow simulator sales throughout the Northeast Region. This position will be based in Boston or New York City. The territory includes Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, Delaware, New Jersey, DC, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. This position requires continuous networking and cold-calling to penetrate new accounts. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, have an outgoing/charismatic personality and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Responsibilities include:
•Presenting and selling Mimic products to new and existing accounts
•Making in-service presentations to surgeons, clinicians and administrators, explaining new products and their use
•Supporting trade show activities and customer training events
•Coordinating with Mimic marketing and sales staff to ensure that products are delivered on time, to stay informed about new products, and to provide customer feedback about product innovation
•Participating in a variety of sales training and planning meetings to learn about new products and marketing promotions, and to share information about sales goals
Minimum Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree and 6 years of direct medical device sales experience (robotic surgery sales experience or experience calling on urology &/or gynecology preferred).
•Prior experience with the da VinciTM Surgical System a plus.
•Strong technical aptitude, including the ability to quickly process and understand complex hardware issues, software and simulation technologies, and medical terminology.
•Track record in utilizing complex hardware/software products.
•Great relationship building skills and a passion for teaching and working with customers.
•Ability to travel 50% and work long hours to achieve goals, as required.
•Valid driver's license and excellent driving record.
•Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database, PowerPoint and Salesforce.com.
