The problem with Acumed is their hiring policies/selections. They hire people with little to no orthopedic/medical device experience that rely on on-the-job training. They don't value experience or don't want to pay for it. They have a corporate mentality of a big company but have a tiny footprint.
 






The posting on the hiring practices is absolutely accurate. Majority of employees have little to no experience with the industry and the problem with managers such as Teri W is that Acumed really thinks the experience is not necessary.
Decisions are made based on how person fits into her “click” Sure you want a person to fit into the company but that should be based on a business not a personal viewpoint. This is a concept she will never understand.
