I had an interview in June, when I was selected as finalist I was given all the paperwork to fill out and send back ( application,background check, etc ) I not sure why you did it last week, but I take it as a good sign. They wouldn't be having you fill out all the paperwork if they had no interest.

10/8 or 10/15, have you gotten a call yet about whether you received the job? All offers have gone out.
