Hiring Freeze?

I am in the process of interviewing for a rep position on the animal health side of Novartis. I know they have halted production of Interceptor and Sentinel right now at their Nebraska plant. Is there any time frame when this might start back up? Is there a hiring freeze right now for the animal health side of the company?
 






Why are you applying in any pharma market? This industry is NOT going to get better and Rumor is that plant may be shut-dowm for good. Things are moving overseas and Novartis is also sending R&D and manufactueing to SE Asia. Please take my advice and gey into another profession. I beg you. You have to be a 20 something. Take my advice and if you have a worthless degree GO BACK TO SHCOOL and get a real degree that will pay off in the long-run. Your young enough and maybe have to sacrifice now but in the long-run it will be worth it. See a career couselor and find out what the best professions are in demand for the next 10-20 years. Ex. Nursing, PA , NP, Engineering, Computer Engineering, Comp Sci or accounting. Stay away from sales all together because future sales jobs will have less salary more commission and no benefits. Stay away from financial planning, insurance, real estate, and staffing. All high pressure and with the economy going down hill these professions will be the first to suffer. They are already suffering and have not fully recovered from the start of the recession in 2007.
