Hey Marketing, thanks for the crappy 4pm Conference Call on Friday

Ask yourself...What kind if impact did that call make? Are the corporate people held to lower standards than the salesforce? All I see is office politics and which promotion is coming next.

That was bad first impression by marketing. Marketing has a second chance to launch another OAB product. As you know we had no studies and no new data for many years. We had some stuff that was taken away from us. They need to step it up and not worry about getting promoted. They are not better than the salesforce only an extension of. I wonder who fostering this kind of mentality at home office. Home office is overhead and they lack the urgency that they always push on the salesforce. I am very tired of it. Everywhere I look its a Pfizer manager, SD, Marketing, compliance person that is ruining us. Whats next, no more half day Fridays.

Honestly. Have you who hired you people?

Has marketing ever touched anything that didn't immediately turn to shit? I say blame the boss. SS it's all on you buddy.

I agree completely, everything they touch turns to complete and total shit! They don't have GSK to point the finger at anymore either which was always their 9th hour excuse for why things with contracts, vouchers and anything that mattered was always so fucked up. If it doesn't deal with a worthless flow chart, a cheap blue blazer, or an imaginary game of segmentation then these stooges are clueless! There's a reason Pfizer and J&J gave all these clowns the directions to the door. Just wait, if this shit doesn't float it will be all the fault of the field for not being able to sell a really expensive non preferred drug.

Some funky stuff is happening at home office and the field. The pressure and boiler room atmosphere is growing and about to burst. I never thought it could get like this. The marketing people were so impulsive they forgot to load the web ex. They also started this call at 4 when everyone at headquarters was at happy hour for several hours. Why is it so bad. Some people view failures only if we have lay offs. This is bad

Don't worry everybody, the almighty PLAYBOOK that will soon be introduced to you will be the answer to all your problems. Just think how often you use the Vesicare/segmentation playbook every day now in the field? Wouldn't you be lost without it?

Folks- I am so sorry that someone asked you to get on a call at 4P on a Friday. Really? Get over yourself that you were asked to make this sacrifice. Door is open and you are free to leave. Their are plenty of folks in line with better attitudes for the job you currently have.

Sell it somewhere else. The sales force is off at noon on Fridays for admn. No one thinks it takes until 4 to do admn. Asking them to get on a call when they're off is inconsiderate. Don't talk to me about sacrifice. Home office doesn't sacrifice jack. How many overnights do you have a week? This was just another example how the people who generate the $ that built that fancy glass building are treated with disdain by the people who work in it.

I am wondering what kind of person makes this kind of argument?
You're asking people who get on a 4pm phone call on a Friday to make this SACRIFICE?
Who is the sacrifice for?

Just another person writing something outrageous here to get attention! This response was NOT constructive feedback...just incites more frustration in people!!!

OMG You guys are killing me. Inconsiderate to ask you to join a 4 PM call, While I dont deny that selling isnt easy these days, dont bitch about a 4 PM call on a Friday. Just quit and go find a new job that pays you as well as this one, gives you great benefits and give you a company car. GROW UP!

No one is given anything. Why is the basic principle of economics so hard for some poeple to grasp? I bet you vote Democrat, too.
