Contacted about a position with this division in the southwest. How are the mesh and tissue products perceived by the surgeons? Are they on many GPO's? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

Just be prepared to get ridiculous quota every year and don't even think of missing your number or you will be on the PIP faster than you can say: Tyco Heal.... Sorry, Covidien

What's the comp like. Was told $80k base and 170 first year. How many reps are breaking 200

This post is ridiculous. No hernia reps make more than $150-160 anymore. These products are a dime a dozen now

Plan to make $140-$150 (if you can make your quota). Parietex and Absorbatack are excellent products and widely adopted. Permacol is a struggle like any other biologic now (market is contracting due to fewer cases being done, high price sensitivity).

64k base at plan of 132k. If you have more than 5 years OR experience there is room to move up to a 70-75k base 150k at plan. Most are making $140-165k with a few making more. I only know 1 personally breaking 200k.
