Hernia has the highest profit margins of every division in Surgical Solutions and there are five product launches in FY13. It will change in structure but it is not being sold.
 






You guys can all quit day dreaming...the only people that know when/if something like this will happen are the GMs. They don't tell anyone about it before hand...trust me, I've already been through one of them and a week prior to the division collapse, they were saying that we had a bright future. Quit worrying...you'll get a decent severance which will allow you to find something better.

We want to sell it but nobody wants to buy it. Going to have to strip it down or drop pants on price.
 






Why would we sell off hernia? I can see getting rid of Permacol and even some of the Parietex line but Absorbatak, Protack and the balloons? We own that market. Why don't we do what we used to do and put those back in the Endo bag?
 












Parietex has been on the market for years. There either buying now or been called on 400 times and not interested. Absorbatack is disappearing as SecureStrap has taken over. Thankfully we have protack - which is only good for permanent fixation in lap inguinals. Even I wouldnt want that fired into me.. tissue or bone. We need new products. Point blank
 












Let's just start rumors, lol. If you said Biosurgery was being sold that would be possibly true, but snce they didn't sell that when they had the opportunity 2 years ago, well... We all know there are changes going on. We all know who is going where up in the big ivory tower and we all know how many people will no longer be in the surgical divisions effective 9/28 and we know what managers and reps are currently interviewing for thier jobs. The sky is not falling so give it a break.
