Heartless - layoffs starting during the holiday season

Just got wind from my WA, CA, and NY counterparts that they were laid off today. Really?!?! December 1st and you let our people go right before Christmas?!!! Heartless a$$hole leadership.
 












Galderma laid off a bunch of reps today across the country. This company has gone downhill because of the complete lack of leadership from KH , EB and Fleming. This never needed to happen. What was once a great company has turned to dog poo. We lost a bunch of great people today. Sad. So sad.
 




















This is just another wave of layoffs. The next one is already planned. There has been more than enough warning on this site. Get out as soon as you can. Galderma has no future and neither do you in this organization.
 




Galderma the le crème de le crème company to work for in its day.
Let this be served as your warning and get out fast…fast as you can. The smart ones are leaving willingly without a job lined up. The unfortunate ones were recently laid off or fired.
Get out and get out fast leadership can not hold on any longer.
 




This company is a joke and the laughing stock in the industry. Everyone who was let go got screwed on Q4 bonus and got some horse crap of a severance. Leadership flat out lies saying we’re doing a salesforce expansion and then does the complete opposite. Do not believe for a minute that anyone is safe here. If you can find another job get out now. There is no loyalty and your manager, director or anyone else can’t save you. The future is dead here. It completely died last week with the way they treated people. There are plenty of other solid companies out there where you can go make a living without the fear mongering and daily threats at this place.
 




RM here, let it be known that 85% of those laid off this past week were on a PIP. If you’re on a PIP and didn’t get laid off, you’re next on the chopping block. We’ve been told to document what you’re not doing so we have reason to terminate you. Giving you a heads up so you’re prepared and to give you time to get your resumes out there. Next round of letters are being prepped this weekend.

Your statement is utterly FALSE!! I bet you don’t even know the exact amount or percentage of people laid off.
 








No one is safe at Galderma. It could be anyone, anytime and the company will give you only minimal severance. This company is in a desperate situation and executives won’t stop at anything to cut cost. Sadly, people are an expensive fix expenditure. Our leaders don’t care about wrecking lives or families. Look for a new job, now!!!

100% agree. Galderma won’t exist in this shape and form in the near future. Get out as soon as you have another job lined up.

I got notified today. Think I’m in shock.

In hindsight, I’m disappointed at my manager. He told me to get the max amount of sales in by 12.1.23. Once the sales came in, I’m now notified that I’m fired. This was a conference call with HR on the line and it sounded like he was straight reading from a script. No emotion, all business. After a little over 7 years here, this is how they let me go.

get the sales and then you’re fired. I’ll remember this xxx! You’re lucky that I don’t use your name. Hope you have a conscious and it eats you alive.
 




I was also let go in December after 7 years with the company. You’re going, here is your letter, goodbye. No recognition. Very disappointed but I try not to take it personally. Good luck.

Sorry for you. But why are you shocked? It’s an everyday occurrence at Galderma. No one is safe. Everyone should be looking for a new job.
