heart valve division

Red headed step child. The fall from grace has been breathtaking under MR. Cardiac surgery is just not sexy enough for the fire engine man. Largely the only reliable money-maker in the stable, the division is dissed, renamed, ignored and basically kicked to the curb in favor of newer, hotter technologies.

That pretty much sums it up.....Sad. Great group of talented, loyal reps watching their once proud division crumble..and crumble quickly.

The whole cardiac surgery division is in disarray, including TAVR. They missed the opportunity to purchase CardicQ at a reasonable cost and they currently sit 5-7 years behind MDT & ELS in TAVR. Along with the many stumbles the "in-house team" has produced the sales force has been dismantled; firing many producers in the NE. I'm in the Philly region and there isn't a rep within 100 miles, pretty pathetic.

Yes, hearing from a reliable source, the last RIF that effected numerous, talented, tenured valve reps has added up to many, many millions of lost valve business to competition that St. Jude will never see again. Smart Business decision....NOT

You have to love when jokers that don't work for the company give their opinion.
