Healthpoint Medical

They have a few different divisions. The one that focuses on wound care is very cut throat and a very difficult sell. Avoid it like the clap unless you are desperate for work.

Anyone Interviewing?

Just curious if anyone is interviewing for this company? What are your impressions thus far? Any info from current employees would be very helpful. Thank You

As an employee of Galderma, I can tell you we have lost a lot of people to Healthpoint. Steve Clark was once the president of Galderma and is now running Healthpoint. Also, John Harvey was our Director of sales and is at Healthpoint. They are both really great guys. A lot of home office people and sales reps from Gladerma have filtered over to Healthpoint and everyone I speak to is very happy. I dont know about the pay. Morale is awful here, considering taking the bus to Healthpoint myself.

I am a current employee of Healthpoint and I love working here. I will address all of the issues I have seen so far. Compensation is roughly going to be in the 70-80K range depending on your experience and and starting base salary. However, there is no pod system and there are no capped commissions. They treat their employees great and it is a very close knit culture. Like all companies I cannot speak for the leadership across the board because I have not worked with them but my own manager is great and is genuinely liked by all of us in his division. I also believe that the upper management is top quality and steering us in the right direction. Wound care is not that cut throat and I don't believe that our products are any harder to sell than other companies. Very few companies out there have an easy sell or they wouldn't pay reps great money to push them. I think that is it but all I can say is it is a great company and I believe that we will continue to grow in our niche market.

no - great company, but your looking at about 80 first year and close to 100 thereafter. the only problem with HP is that they have not had a real new product since Xenaderm, which was great, but we don't sell it any longer. OASIS is good, Santyl - well, we used to sell against it - but now it's the only debrider on the market so there's not much competition. hydrofera blue - old product but good.

good luck- i left about 18 months ago, but most everyone I've stayed in touch with is still happy. most of us leave because there isn't much room for growth and no new products to sell. gets a bit boring.
